Hi, I'm Lisa Mason. I opened the Stratford club, in March 1997 with my then fiancé, and now husband Joe. L.J.'s of course stands for Lisa & Joe. We genuinely feel the club belongs to it's members, many of whom have been with us from the beginning.
Part of the club's continuing success, I believe, is the friendly atmosphere that
welcomes all - When Joe and I started the club we advertised it as "A Great Social Evening". We still believe this to be the case with the line dancing providing the focus for the evening.
New members quickly feel relaxed in this pressure free club. If you don't get the dance right, it does not matter. Nobody is going to make you feel you can't do it.
In just a few weeks, you'll feel right at home. You'll know the basic steps and you will begin to learn the dances as quickly as anyone. Experienced line dancers are always welcome to our clubs. You'll enjoy learning some of the latest dances that are "doing the circuit".
And now, for those who want to, we even teach our members to pass the B.A.T.D. Country and Western Line Dancing exams. Thank you for taking time to enter our site. If you have any questions or suggestions
please feel free to e-
Lisa
